If you enjoy walking, but don’t want to take to the hills, you can simply meander along the marked pathways through our very own piece of forest and down to the bubbling creek, or if you are feeling energetic take a short drive up to the ridge behind us for bushwalking trails and rock climbing. Look out for our resident wildlife including wombats, king parrots and kookaburras.

Our beautiful local town of Berry is only 2 km away and it is fast becoming a foodie paradise with great restaurants and artisan bakeries and cafes, many of which produce their own lines of provisions, some of which you will get to sample during your stay, as we try to source locally where possible. With boutique shops, regular produce and crafts markets, galleries and antiques stores, it’s leisurely atmosphere makes a great place to wander around.

We are ideally situated for the area’s many and varied attractions. Charming destinations abound. Picturesque Kangaroo Valley is only 20 minutes drive away, and a little further afield, the towns of the Southern Highlands like Bowral and Bundanoon are very easily accessible. A superb coastline and miles of sandy beaches are only 15 minutes away. You won’t have to jostle for a prime spot here !

Walk along the pristine Seven Mile Beach, visit Gerroa and Gerringong or further along the coast you will find Kiama, Jervis Bay and going inland, Jamberoo. Local attractions include 7 wineries [ there’s one just next door ! ], bushwalks, golf courses, seasonal and weekend country fairs, markets and festivals. For mainstream shopping head to Nowra, 15K away, which also offers a cinema, all the big names you’d expect to see on the high street, and diverse restaurants.
